Qithëmt-shëno Fêqê (/ˈsohɘ/ /ˈʃëno/ [famous] [worker; employee]) is a subtropical Town located in the Betebê Zone of the Union of Engineers.

The name Qithëmt-shëno Fêqê is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as Qithëmt-shëno Fêqê was founded by Gnanvaihn Êmê, who was culturaly Iron Elven.

Climate

Qithëmt-shëno Fêqê has a yearly average temperature of 24°C (75°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 26°C (78°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a pleasant 22°C (71°F). Qithëmt-shëno Fêqê receives an average of 203 cm/y (79 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the spring. Qithëmt-shëno Fêqê covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 5394 m (17696 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Qithëmt-shëno Fêqê was founded durring the late 12th century in summer of the year 1075, by Gnanvaihn Êmê. The establishment of Qithëmt-shëno Fêqê was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Qithëmt-shëno Fêqê's construction back out of the project. Gnanvaihn Êmê pushed on reguardles, and Qithëmt-shëno Fêqê was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Qithëmt-shëno Fêqê was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the late 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Qithëmt-shëno Fêqê is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature masoned stone construction which prominantly features pointed arches, pointed ribbed vault cielings, flying buttress', and window tracery all of which share a simmilar gemoetetic patern halfway between organic and inorganic in design formaing a very distinct aesthetically integrated style. BUildings tend to reach for the havens, and more expencive homes are easily identified by their floor count as well as the addition of decorative features intigrated into the building's design such as statues, gargoyals, and embelished joinery.

Qithëmt-shëno Fêqê is buildings are arranged arround a network of narrow cobblestone streets which form a grid, where each square verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller square has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town is protected by a series of wooden fences ringing the town's parimiter, which are likly intended to keep varrious beasts out of town rather than protect it from attack by any intelegent agents. Astonishigly, the bare minimum defences are in pristine condishion, as if they had just been finished before you laied eyes upon them.

A look around Qithëmt-shëno Fêqê shows Qithëmt-shëno Fêqê is little more than a wretched hive of scum and villainy. Birbes can be seen changing hands openly, such that it must be customary to do so and must have been for a long time. The locals have no fear, no annoyance at the state of things, it simply is.

Civic Infrastructure

Qithëmt-shëno Fêqê possesses a Galvanic Power Grid, which brings galvanic current to most if not all buildings in town, and permits a great many consumer goods to function within the Town. Qithëmt-shëno Fêqê's grid is powered by a direct leyline tap.

Qithëmt-shëno Fêqê has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands. They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Qithëmt-shëno Fêqê's natural decorations nor waterways.

Qithëmt-shëno Fêqê has a Guild of Roadworkers, who are responsible for maintaining the roadways and public paths within town. They also have the duty of enforcing all civil laws relating to the roadways.

Cultural Notes

Qithëmt-shëno Fêqê's mayor's house was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is known for its fluid and florid elaborate style, comprising ornate, asymmetric designs and pastel shades. It is often considered to be a playful, light style, which made exuberant use of curves and emphasized subtle asymmetry in the general shape of its structures. Walls, ceilings and moldings are decorated with numerous interlacing of curves and counter-curves based on the shapes of ‘C’ and ‘S’, along with shell forms and other naturalistic shapes.

Due to the actions of local Kami, winter is short in Qithëmt-shëno Fêqê.

The Fly, Giant near Qithëmt-shëno Fêqê are known to be a mutant strain of the creature.

Qithëmt-shëno Fêqê's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in spring and involves embarking on a group pilgrimage to channel Mysticism energies of tier 1 via recitation of poetic epics.
